1. You take your daughter and her fellow home preschoolers on a "listening walk" and all they hear is cars on the freeway and hammering.
2. You take your daughter on a walk down a tree lined horse path (in a neighborhood mind you) and she tells you, "This is called a forest!"
So, why do we stay? I think the picture says it all.

Hah! A listening walk in NYC would be similar, except the rushing cars are much much closer. And a nature walk to us is when Elyse exclaims with glee...grass!! Love your blog!
