We've rented lots of vacation spots through Craigslist, all with great success. Shane and I planned to get away this weekend to Malibu for his triathlon and just to be together. We had a place all picked out and paid for (via Craigslist). Then the owner emailed me a couple days ago to tell me (short version) that her place was no longer available and she would mail us a check. Huh? Since when does that happen? Needless to say I was bummed. No Getty Villa, no dinner at Real Food Daily, no walk along the beach at sunset...Ce la vie. We'll try again soon.

that's too bad about malibu. it's so nice this time of year, nice and cool. that's one of our favorite beaches.

Hi Alicia! That is such a bummer! I am so sorry. I don't think I would get over that very fast. I have been craving a weekend away with Jared, so this hits close to home! You have such a great attitude. I'm sure something great is coming your way to replace your "almost trip".

Oh, that makes me so sad! I'm so sorry you missed out on a planned get-away weekend. How dissapointing!
But... I'm soo grateful to Shane for adjusting my (kinked) neck at church yesterday so I wasn't in so much pain and could function while teaching my RS lesson. Your husband ROCKS :)
