Twices

We had burritos for dinner and even after a second helping Sage was still hungry. I agreed to let her have an apple. Shane walked in while we were cutting and Sage announced,

"I'm having an apple 'cuz I just had twices and I'm still hungry."

I think you mean seconds kiddo.

Peekaboo

Micah likes opening his eyes these days; we think they'll be blue.

Bitter and Sweet

And baby makes 4

One of my favorite scriptures reads, "...they taste the bitter, that they may know to prize the good." Fitting words for the first week of Micah's life.

The bitter:

• Getting used to nursing (two words...bad latch)
• Whiplash from all the nodding off during night feedings (kidding...sort of)
  

The sweet:

• Micah being born just a few hours before my sister had to catch a plane back to NYC
• Holding Micah, kissing Micah, watching him sleep
  
• Watching Shane and Sage hold and kiss Micah
• Watching Grandma Mia enjoy our little man
  

The bittersweet:

• Being released from my calling as Primary President...it's been a fun ride these past 3 years
