Hi! I hope Micah is doing better these days!!! I got your message about the LDN. My kid's eczema has dramatically improved, but since we started so many things at the same time it's hard to say exactly what's helping. Don't get me wrong, the itch is still there but it's not nearly as bad and he sleeps through the night again!
Back in October we started him on LDN, a strong Probiotic (100+ Billion flora per 1/4 t), Nordic Naturals Fish Oil, and 2000 IUs Vitamin D. My kid's now 4 so of course doses would be different for an infant. It was at that time that I also got a handle on his food allergies with allergy testing and removed all sugar from his diet (he never got much anyways, but I even stopped juicing for him thinking that yeast might be the problem.) The NAET yeast treatment was a doozie, so I think I was on to something. All that and a couple additional supplements for 6 months. He's been off the LDN for 3 months, but is having a rough summer with environmental allergies so he started back up last week. This time I'll get a better idea as to how helpful it is. But with everything I've read on it helping the body's skewed immune system balance out, sounds like most people could benefit from it in one way or another.
As for your NAET experience, it does sound unusual. Our practitioner is a global NAET trainer, so I'll ask her about the aggressive protocol you were on to see what her thoughts are.
Keep the faith, you & your family will get through this. Micah is so fortunate to have such a loving family to take care of him. And the good news is that he won't remember any of this.
