A Child's Prayer

In Sage's prayers when she asks for something she says, "yank you" (thank you) in place of "we ask thee." Here is an excerpt from a prayer this week:

"Yank you that mommy will have a big, BIG baby."

A New Name

Sage was flipping through some new animal flash cards and she came upon this picture:

"Das called a bed head bird."

Deprived

Over dinner tonight (Asparagus Fritatta and Sprouted English Muffins) I told Sage that I would cut up some strawberries for our dessert.

S: "What are desserts?"

A: "Something you eat after dinner."

Poor kid.
