Horseback Riding

Sage, Suko and Nicole

Sage looks forward all week to Fridays because Friday is her day for riding lessons. Much of the hour lesson is spent taking care of Suko, a 22-year-old pony. Sage brushes his coat, combs his mane, picks gunk out of his hoofs, "paints" his nails (varnish on his hoofs) and helps saddle him up. Her teacher, Nicole, is there to help every step of the way.

We love to see her so happy and excited and working so hard to take care of Suko.

Horseback riding lessons? That is so cool! I would love for Kaitlyn to be able to do that some day.
