Food for the Soul

I miss living near a walking city. Growing up there was D.C. and then there was San Francisco during our first year of marriage. I miss the city...the soaring architecture, fabulous museums and the crazy people on the streets. But most of all I miss the art. Walking through the National Gallery last week, with my dad, I soaked up the beauty and got my fill of color and shape and light.

Beautiful pictures.
I love art too, though I don't partake of it enough.
My mom is really into art and her latest hobby is travelling around the world to see every known Carravagio painting. I don't know if I'll ever be that passionate but I hope to learn more about art someday.
